STJEPAN HAUSER WINNER OF PLG YOUNG ARTISTS AUDITIONS!

-Stjepan Hauser was selected for Park Lane Group Young Artists Series 2010 in Southbank Centre, London. In last two months Stjepan attended 6 major international music competition, and each time was awarded.

STJEPAN HAUSER WINS PRESTIGIOUS PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA AWARD AGAIN!

-Stjepan Hauser won the PO/MMSF Award on the recent PO/MMSF auditions that happened to be in Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, April 2009.In last two months Stjepan was also prize winner of worlds biggest cello competitions and awards such as Adam Cello Competition in New Zealand, VTB Capital Prize for Young Cellists in Wigmore Hall and J & A Beare Solo Bach Competition.

 

STJEPAN HAUSER PLAYS IN WIGMORE HALL IN MEMORY OF ROSTROPOVICH!

-Stjepan Hauser has been invited to play in Wigmore Hall on the concert dedicated to great cellist Rosropovich 2nd May 2009!This day will be a big day for all the cellists and will be entirely dedicated to Rostropovich! There will be discussions about his less known work as a pianist and compser. Also, there will be shown for the first time some of his uknown recordings, including video recording of his premiere performance of Shostakovich Cello Concerto No.2! On the concert in Wigmore Hall Stjepan will play Prokofiev: Concertino for Cello and Orchestra op.132 accompanied by the London cello students (Arrangement for cello solo and cello ensemble written by Rostropovich) UK Premiere! There will be some other music performed, (which was either dedicated or premiered by Rostropovich) performed by internationaly renowed artists uch s Alexander Ivashkin, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Dmitry Alexeev, Alexander Zemtsov, Joan Rodgers and Chilingirian Quartet.

 

STJEPAN HAUSER WINNER OF THE CROATIAN TV SHOW!

-On Wednesday, 24th December 2008 the winner of the "Looking for the Most Talented Young Musician" of the Croatian TV Show "Dobro Jutro Htvatska" was announced! The Winner is: Stjepan Hauser! Competition that started in March 2008 and lasted until December 2008 was devided into four rounds. In the final round, Stjepan played Elegy for cello and strings by Rudolf Matz, accompanied by famous croatian ensemble Zagreb Soloists!

STJEPAN HAUSER ABSOLUTE WINNER IN ITALY!!!

-Stjepan Hauser won two first prizes in one day!! It was the 5th of December 2008 that Stjepan Hauser achieved 100 points out of 100 in Recital Category and 100 points out of 100 in Solo with Orchestra Category in the International Music Competition "Francesco Forgione" in Italy!! Part of the prize include 70 concerts in Italy!

THE GREENWICH TRIO ABSOLUTE WINNER IN ITALY!

The Greenwich Trio won 1st prize in the International Music Competition "Carlo Mosso" in Italy (8th and 9th November 2008)! They recieved 100 points out of 100 and became absolute winner! They also won Special Prize "Carlo Mosso" and Special Prize "Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Alessandria" It seems like the new Cornelissen instruments really helped!

STJEPAN HAUSER PERFORMING FOR PRINCE CHARLES IN ST. JAMES'S  PALACE

After a briliant performance in Buckingham Palace for Prince Charles on 23 April 2008, Stjepan is invited again to perform with the Philharmonia Orchestra on Gala Ceremony at St. James's Palace, another Royal residence, on 18 June at 8pm. Event will attend Prince Charles and his wife Camilla and also other important people such as multimillionaire Donald Trump and movie stars such as Liam Neeson.

RIVKA GOLANI JOINS THE GREENWICH TRIO!

-Stjepan Hauser and his The Greenwich Trio, winners of the CAVATINA Chamber Music Comptition in London returns to the Netherdhall House for the recital 31 May at 8pm organized by the CAVATINA Chamber Music Trust. This time the guest artist will be internationaly acclaimed violist Rivka Golani who will join them in performance of Schumann's Piano Quartet and Schubert's Trout Quintet.

THE GREENWICH TRIO WELCOMING BERNARD GREENHOUSE IN LONDON!

Legendary cellist Bernard Greenhouse, named Honorary Professor by the Royal College of Music, returns to London to give master classes from the 12th to 14th May 2008 at the Royal College of Music. To celebrate this occasion, the London Cello Society hosts a very special event at the Queensgate Terraceconcert series.This delightful artist will share his recollections as a member of the Beaux Arts Trio and his work as a teacher and mentor of the superbly talented The Greenwich Trio. This prizewinning trio will present a concert featuring works by Beethoven and Brahms.

 

STJEPAN HAUSER WINS BACH COMPETITION!!

-In a very hard concurence of the Vera Kantrovich Competition for solo string playing of Bach, Stjepan Hauser won first prize! In the final on 31st October 2007 he performed 3rd Suite in C Major by J. S. Bach as the only cellist chosen for the Final round. His playing on the competition caused standing ovations and highly enthusiastic reaction both from audience and from the jury. His approach to Bach was enthusiastcly described by jury as an incredibly original, virtuosic and in the same time stilistic, tehnichly polished, mature and genuine performance.

 

STJEPAN HAUSER APPEARS ON CHANNEL 4

- Stjepan Hauser will appear in the British two part thriller Britz, performing as a soloist Kol Nidrei accompanied by Metropolitan Sinfonia in an actual movie. It will be on Channel 4: part 1 Wed 31st Oct 9pm-11.15pm; part 2 Thurs 1st Nov 9pm-11.25pm. Stjepan will appear in the end of both episodes.

STJEPAN HAUSER DEBUT RECORDING WITH THE GREENWICH TRIO - Stjepan Hauser just came back from the tour in Italy with his The Greenwich Trio. In the middle of November he is invited back for the recording of the debut CD whit the Greenwich Trio.The Debut Album will be CD with trios Smetana & Schostakovich. In the same period there will be two concerts in Italy for the promotional purposes for the CD. The programme for the concerts will be Brahms Trio no.2 and Shostakovich Trio No.1
